This series of tables explores an interface between Bauhaus functionalism and ornamentation of material.
Each variation results from a diversification of joinery,  proportion, and selection of raw materials.
Each table follows a process of collaboration between architect and carpenter.
The Walnut and Cherry variations combine solid wood frames and with veneered carpenter’s board wedged between, around which a grain image and finely mitered corners are applied.

Fourframes be implemented, from the perspective of the craft, continuously in qualitative, individual ways.
The design can be thus be produced in large quantities, but never mass produced.
